The honest version
Fifty miles, measured from Pepperell
A 50 mile radius is a real limit, not a marketing line. Past it, the drive starts eating the day and you end up paying for windshield time instead of tile. We would rather say no than quote a job we cannot service properly.
Pepperell and the Nashoba Valley
This is home. The shop is here, the truck starts here, and a job in town means we are on site early instead of sitting on Route 3. Most of our repeat homeowner work sits inside this ring.
Greater Boston
Most of our tile work ends up here, for homeowners directly and as a subcontractor on general contractor jobs. It is also where the schedule has to be honest, because a bathroom in the city means parking, stairs and a building that has rules about noise.
West Roxbury
Older housing stock, which usually means the substrate is the real job. Walls that are out of plumb and floors that were never leveled are normal here, and they are the reason we quote after seeing the room instead of over the phone.
Andover and the Merrimack Valley
Larger bathrooms and full gut remodels, often in homes where the owner is living through the work. Sequencing matters more than anywhere else, because one bathroom offline for a month is a real problem.
Southern New Hampshire
Just over the line from Pepperell, and close enough that the drive does not change the price. We have been working up here steadily.

Questions about the area
Do you charge more for a job further out?
Not inside the radius. Travel is built into how we price, so a bathroom in Andover and a bathroom in Pepperell are quoted the same way. Outside the radius we would rather decline than add a surcharge that makes the job bad value for you.
Do you work in New Hampshire?
Yes, southern New Hampshire, and it is close enough to Pepperell that the drive does not change the number. Further north gets outside the range.
Can you do a job in a city building with restrictions?
Yes, and we would rather hear about the elevator windows, the noise hours and the certificate of insurance requirement at the estimate than on the first morning. Bring them up early and they cost you nothing.
Do you travel for a small job?
A backsplash or a single shower at the far edge of the radius is worth asking about rather than assuming. Sometimes it works because we already have a crew nearby that week. Call and we will be straight with you.
