Kitchen cabinets and island installed during a kitchen remodel

Kitchen remodeling across Massachusetts

Cabinets, counters, backsplash and floor, sequenced so the room only gets torn up once and you are cooking again on the date we gave you.

A kitchen goes wrong in the calendar more often than in the tile. The cabinets land before the floor is ready, the counter template waits on a trade that is not booked, and a three week job turns into six with a family eating takeout the whole time.

We sequence it in the other direction. Demolition and any substrate work first, then floor, then cabinets, then the counter template, then the backsplash last so it can be scribed to what is actually there instead of what was on the drawing. Licensed electrical and plumbing get scheduled into that order rather than squeezed in around it.

You get the date up front and a call from Claudney if anything moves. That is the whole promise, and it is the thing our reviews keep mentioning.

How it goes

How a kitchen runs

Walk the room

We measure, look at the floor and the walls, and talk through what you already have on order. Free, and no obligation after it.

Scope and sequence

You get the written scope plus the order the trades come in, so you can see where your cabinets and counters have to land.

Before signing

Demolition, floor, cabinets

Tear out, prep and level, flooring, then cabinets set and aligned. Counters get templated off the installed cabinets, never off a drawing.

The long stretch

Backsplash and finish

Backsplash goes in last, scribed to the real wall. Then trim, paint touch up, clean and walkthrough.

Then the keys

Questions

Kitchen questions we get every week

Can you do only the backsplash?

Yes, and it is one of our most common small jobs. A backsplash on existing counters is usually a one to two day job. If the counters are going to be replaced later, wait and do the backsplash after, or you will pay to have it cut out.

Do you supply the cabinets?

We install whatever you buy, and we can source cabinets for you at no extra charge if you would rather not manage it. Sourcing is free either way, we do not mark up the material to pay for the errand.

How long am I without a kitchen?

Depends entirely on scope and on when your cabinets and counters actually arrive. We give you the working window at the estimate, and we flag which dates depend on your supplier rather than on us, so you know which delays we can control.

Do you move the sink or the range?

That means licensed plumbing or electrical, which we schedule as part of the job. It is doable, it just needs to be decided at the estimate rather than on demolition day.
