Our work
Every photo here is a room we tiled
No stock photography and no renderings. These are Massachusetts homes, photographed the day the job was finished.
What we do
Four things we are hired for
Same crew from demolition to the last piece of trim. You are not handed off to a different company halfway through.
Bathroom Remodeling
Full gut and rebuild, or just the shower. Waterproofing, tile, vanity and glass, by the same crew start to finish.
Kitchen Remodeling
Cabinets, counters, backsplash and floor, sequenced so the room is only torn up once.
Tile Installation
Floor, wall and shower. Porcelain, marble, mosaic and picket, set level with grout lines that line up.
Flooring Installation
Luxury vinyl plank, wood look tile and large format porcelain, over a subfloor we prep and level first.
Also part of the work, without a page of their own: cabinet installation, demolition and prep, wall finishing and patching, and carpet. Electrical and plumbing inside a remodel are done by licensed trades that Claudney coordinates, not by us.
For general contractors
Subcontracting the tile
If you run the job and just need the tile done right, this is the short version. Send photos and a plan and we price it without a site visit. A bathroom or a kitchen is 3 to 4 days, and we can usually be on site about two days after you call. Waterproofing carries our five year warranty, so the callback is not yours.
How it goes
Four steps, and you always know which one you are on
You call or send the form
During working hours we come back in under 3 minutes. If Claudney is on a job site, you still get a callback the same day, from him, not from a call center.
Same dayFree estimate, on site or from photos
Site visits run from 1pm to 6pm. Contractors who send photos and a floor plan can get a number without waiting for a visit.
No chargeWritten scope before anything starts
You see what is included and what is not before you sign. We do not put a price on a room we have not seen.
Before signingWe build it, and you know when
A contractor bathroom runs 3 to 4 days. A full homeowner remodel runs 20 to 30 days. You get the date up front and a call if anything moves.
3 to 4 days for tradeWho you are hiring
Claudney runs the job, and answers the phone
He spent 10 years setting tile in other people's companies before opening CLA New England Tile in 2022. Today it is him and a crew of three, working out of Pepperell across Massachusetts, in English and in Portuguese.
That is why the estimate, the schedule and the walkthrough all come from the same person. Nothing gets passed to a salesman who has never held a trowel, and nothing gets subcontracted out to a crew you did not hire.
The company carries insurance. The waterproofing behind every shower we build is ours, and it carries five years, because a membrane is the one part of a bathroom nobody can inspect after the tile goes on.
The tile is where we get judged

Claudney and his team took the most poorly planned disgusting old bathroom and helped redesign to maximize the space. They did an amazing job in every single aspect of the complete remodel. Great communication and real attention to detail. I will definitely use again for future projects.
Their tiling work was flawless: precise cuts, level grout lines, and a beautiful finished look that transformed both rooms. The team was punctual, professional, and communicated clearly throughout the job. Cleanup was thorough and they left the space spotless.
He renovated my bathroom and did an excellent job. Very professional, kind, and affordable. I highly recommend him for any bathroom renovation or tile work.
Great contractor, did a great job on my bathroom and basement, highly recommend, professional, responsive and good quality work.
I contacted Claudney tile contractor from this company. He did really good job. Now my bathroom looks new, beautiful. The team was knowledgeable, professional.
Did a great job on our entry way, professional and thorough.

Questions
What homeowners ask before they sign
How much does a bathroom remodel cost?
We do not put a number on a room we have not seen, and we will not quote one over text. Too much of the cost sits behind the wall. The estimate is free, so the honest answer is that we come look and you get a real number instead of a guess you cannot hold us to.
How long will my bathroom be out of service?
For a contractor, a bathroom or kitchen usually runs 3 to 4 days. For a homeowner doing a full remodel, plan on 20 to 30 days from demolition to the last piece of trim, because that scope includes the parts a contractor would already have handled. A large job can start about 15 days out.
Do you charge for the estimate?
No. The on site estimate is free, and there is no obligation after it. If sending photos and a floor plan is easier, we can price simple work that way, which is how most of our contractor jobs get quoted.
Do I need to be home while you work?
No. Plenty of our clients leave a key, a code or a lockbox and we work while they are at their job. We do prefer you there on the day we walk the finished room, so anything you want changed gets handled on the spot.
Do you handle the electrical and the plumbing?
Those parts are done by licensed trades, and Claudney coordinates them inside the schedule so you are not chasing four phone numbers. Permits work the same way. Everything else in the room, from demolition through tile and finish, is ours.
What does the warranty actually cover?
One year on workmanship across the job, and five years against leaks on wet areas we waterproofed ourselves. That second one only applies to a shower or a tub surround we built from the substrate up, because we can only stand behind a membrane we installed.
Do you install carpet?
Yes, carpet is part of what we install, along with luxury vinyl plank, wood look tile and large format porcelain. We do not have finished photography of a carpet job yet, so you will not see one in the gallery above.
Do I buy the tile or do you?
Either way works. If you have already picked something, we install it. If you have not, we source the material for you at no extra charge, which usually gets you trade pricing and saves the weekend of showroom visits. We work in English and Portuguese.
